It’s time for another Cinderella Castle moat update! In case you’re unaware, there is a project underway to widen the pathway that connects the area of Fantasyland (back where Cinderella Fountain is) to Sleepy Hollow in Liberty Square.
There are two high reaches parked under the walkway from the castle towards Fantasyland. There seems to be a suspicious amount of water seeping back in.
There’s actually a lot more water in the area.
It looks like something might have bumped into these “rocks” closer to the castle. I think somebody may have accidentally broken one of them.
On the other side of the moat, closer to the pathway, there are more noticeable changes. A ditch has been excavated for the foundation of the pathway. The path is still open for use, for now.

We can see the rebar that will help strengthen the foundation, and a lot of area is marked with caution tape.
Some mysterious tarped things are in the moat now. There’s significantly more water than the last time we updated you.
This is an interesting place to have wet paint.
The ducks are happily swimming around the little bit of water they have now.
The second barrier on the Liberty Square side doesn’t seem to be doing its job.
That’s it for our Cinderella Castle moat update today. We’ll continue to update you on the progress. Stay tuned!
When is this supposed to be completed?
