Disney has just released the official dates for Annual Passholder previews for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
Platinum, Platinum Plus and Premier Passholders will soon have an opportunity to register for an out-of-this-world adventure at the all-new Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! Explore the land, shops and more during your exclusive Annual Passholder preview—select times from August 17 to August 21, 2019. Invitations will be sent soon via email.
Here are the details and fine print on Passholder previews:
Important Information About Registration
- Advance registration required. Eligible activated Annual Pass is required to register.
- Reservations for Passholder preview are only available to Platinum, Platinum Plus and Premier Passholders.
- Reservations are limited. Limit one reservation per Passholder.
- Reservations are nontransferable and may not be sold or bartered.
- No modifications to reservations.
- If a Passholder would like to register a Guest to accompany them, that Guest must also be a Platinum, Platinum Plus or Premier Passholder, be listed on your Family & Friends list and have opted to share “All My Plans” with you.
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Information
- The Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run attraction and other offerings will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Passholders who attend the preview event may not be able to experience all of the offerings during the event.
- Passholders may experience wait times during this event.
- Offerings, prices, experiences and information are subject to restrictions and change or cancellation without notice.
Oga’s Cantina
- There is a maximum of 2 drinks per Guest.
- Guests must be 21 years of age or over to consume alcohol; valid photo ID is required.
- Oga’s Cantina consists mainly of standing room, with limited seating.
- Seating is not guaranteed upon entry and separate parties may be seated together.
Savi’s Workshop – Handbuilt Lightsabers
- Payment of $199.99 per lightsaber, plus tax is required upon arrival at this location.
- Admittance to this location is limited to a builder and 1 Guest. At least one person in the party must be age 14 or older.
- One lightsaber per builder per experience.
- Custom lightsabers are nonrefundable and are not eligible for Annual Passholder or other discounts.

i cant tell you how disappointed i am that these are the options. They are giving cast members two weeks to go in but 5 days for paying annual passholders. makes sense.

I have never received any email from the passholder group for any special event for passholder events. Hoping this one comes through.
We purchased 4 annual passes just for this event and we never received a invitation. I am beyond being angry.
Will all platinum passholder get an email invite or just some passholder? We are platinum passholders and will be there Aug 24-31. Wanted to know how to get an email invite.

Yeah, I have been a passholder for the last 3 years. Me and my family of 9 have never gotten an invite for any passholder events. Would be nice if we actually got invited to this since we are all Star Wars fans and all of us are adults.
You need to call guest services and get signed up for the emails. The same thing happened to me and I was opted out of all the emails for some reason.
Platinum plus pass holder, but not arriving until 8/31. Wonder how they will handle entry after full opening.

We are DVC and platinum pass holders and we never received and email invite to this event or many others offers for that matter. We were prepared to book a flight and come to Florida on those days. This is crap! We pay good money for both and received nothing.
