Summer crowds have officially arrived at DCA. Banners from the 4th of July are still up, as are endless construction walls.

So many people! You can still use MaxPass to grab FastPasses for most of the rides if you get there early enough.

Guardians of the Galaxy

As the Marvel Land construction continues it creeps further and further into the parks. The entire queue area for Guardians of the Galaxy has been rerouted and the FastPass distribution moved.

The standby line now wraps outside, near the exit of the ride.

Cast Members are around to make sure everyone is sorted correctly.

Paper FastPass distribution is over by the theater. The sign is easy to miss if you aren’t looking.

Marvel Land buildings seem to be making quick progress.

The Pacific Wharf area wasn’t too crowded. Be sure to try the seasonal bread pudding before it’s gone!

We also found that Smokejumpers Grill now offers a frozen Jack and Coke. And yes, it’s delicious. Definitely grab this to cool off in the summer heat. Thanks for taking a stroll around DCA with us.

New Guardians line – cast members are doing nothing to stop the public from jumping the ropes, essentially cutting in front of people who enter at the REAL entrance — very sad
