The unexpected closure of Primeval Whirl at Animal Kingdom just got even longer. Dinoland U.S.A. will be without its coaster through July 20, 2019 now.
First reported closed on June 17, 2019, the reason for the closure has yet to be announced by Disney.
Primeval Whirl was previously expected to reopen on July 13, 2019, so guests should be wary of another extension to the closure. All guests with a current FastPass for the attraction should receive a Multiple Experience FastPass for an attraction in the same tier.

I honestly could care less about this ride. However, I’m wondering if side A is broken, why they can’t just use side B? They are identical rides.

We AP’ers have had some great laughs riding this over the years in my fam and we ride it every time after we go to Dino ride. It’s a great quick “shift” or “break” away, short wait, different and adds to the list of fun filled rides/entertainment at the end of the day. Every ride is special at Disney, I often think about what if every ride was saved and never closed or changed – just more added. That would be awesome!
I know this land and ride get a lot of flack, but I really enjoy riding this Disney-fied Wild Mouse.
