PHOTO REPORT: EPCOT 10/14/19 (Holiday Crowds, New Novelty Socks, Construction Updates, Maple Syrup, and More!)

It’s another beautiful day here at EPCOT! It’s a busy holiday weekend, and the crowds have been growing steadily all morning. Let’s take a look at what’s happening around the park today.

A little look from above.

First thing we encountered were Cast Members telling guests that Test Track was down and would be closed for a few hours. Thankfully they’ll be going down for what sounds like a much needed refurbishment next year.

Looks like people are coming out to appreciate Figment today. The line is pretty long here, but it is a holiday weekend, so the parks will be busy.

The next crazy line we encountered early in the morning was for Living with the Land, which was posted at a 45 minute wait. Soarin’ was only at an 85 minute wait at the same time, oddly enough.

In MouseGear, we spotted some new socks for $14.99 each.

The new Trader Sam’s collection from Art of Disney has a new pillow available for $27.99. Cute, artistic tiki mugs cover the front of the pillow and a fun tiki print on the other side.

The Ratatouille ride vehicle model is probably the cutest thing in the Epcot Experience. Just look at it!

A quick break into Canada for samples of three different kinds of maple syrup, each available for purchase. We started talking about all the great ways to use this in cooking and almost left with the 3 pack. Maybe next time.

The front portion of Canada looks beautiful and getting close to completion.

The back needs a little work.

Speaking of things that need a little work, the Skyliner was still testing (but has since opened since publishing time.)

Construction in France is progressing.

Can’t wait for this to be finished.

The Regal Eagle Smokehouse is coming to the America Pavilion and you can see a bit on the construction on the corner of the former Liberty Inn.

They were sold out of the Mozart Pumpkin Spice Chocolate Cream Liqueur, but the Cast Members said they would hopefully be getting more soon, so we’ll just have to make do with the regular chocolate cream.

A long sleeved Coco hoodie has arrived at the Mexico Pavilion in Epcot for $34.99 and features Ernesto de la Cruz.

The crowds waiting in line for Gran Fiesta Tour was a little much for me, so it’s time to get out of here.

Thanks for joining us around Epcot today and be sure to keep following for more updates!

  1. Been there, done that, never again! For years we went during the holiday…only time figment had a wait! American Adventure actually ran out of food at their kiosk(the Sam Adams kiosk). Drunk people everywhere(saw one adult pushing another in a rental stroller…kid you not!).
