Welcome to another beautiful day at EPCOT. The birds are chirping, the sun is shining, and the smell of fertilizer is in the air. We followed our noses to discover the smell was coming from the landscaping around the new tram loop.
The new tramp loop and security screening area at EPCOT has opened, almost completely, and offers a speedier process for guests entering the park. Guests who ride the monorail to the park are dropped off on the “secure” side and don’t have to go through double bag checks as they previously did. Be sure to check out our post and video tour of the new area to help you prepare for your next visit to EPCOT!
Inside MouseGear, Christmas has arrived. We’ve spotted tons of new merchandise for the holidays, including some sweet new holiday ears. The gingerbread ears and candy cane cutie ears are $29.99 each.
Outside of Art of Disney, construction walls line the area from the entrance to the restrooms nearby.
Near Journey into Imagination with Figment, we can see lots of walls around the landscaping in the area. This is probably related to whatever has them draining the nearby waterways.
Prince Phillip was hanging out nearby as well. An odd location choice…
The water levels are pretty low and the visible rocks give an interesting appearance.
Just down the pathway, we find the construction on the new restrooms is nearing completion, while a tiny corner is all that remains of the former Refreshment Port restrooms.
The Canada pavilion is looking great. A lot of the scrims have been removed and the new facade is looking much better than it did. Finally, guests can walk into the Appleseed Orchard without walking through a construction zone.
There’s definitely still some work to be done on the rockwork.
Morocco is still busy putting together their new art exhibit.
This origami Stitch in the Japan pavilion is ready for Halloween, and to eat your trash!
Just a quick look at the Regal Eagle Smokehouse construction.
Karamell-Kuche in Germany has some sweet new treats. A boozy caramel flight and a pumpkin spice caramel cupcake are now available inside.
“Mariachi Cobre Presents… The Story of Coco” will be returning for 3 days for Dia de los Muertos. You can catch this very limited performance October 31, November 1, and November 2. We can’t wait!
We can hear the Fountain of Nations being demolished behind these walls and it’s a little bit depressing.
Well, that’s about it for today. Thanks for following us around EPCOT and stay tuned for more updates because big changes are coming to this park!
Love the updates Annie!! Thank you!
