Brr, it was a chilly one out there today, but that didn’t seem to stop people from going to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Seriously, were they running a special on Tip-Yip today?
Crowds, crowds as far as the eye could see.
Once we battled our way through the sea of vacationers, we finally made it to the Celebrity 5 & 10 to do some shopping.
This new Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker mug flew its way in this morning. On one side, members of the Resistance including Rey, Poe, Lando and Chewbacca are featured with the Millennium Falcon flying into the frame.
The opposite side has Kylo Ren with his army of Stormtroopers ready to face off.
This mug will cost you $14.99 and is available at multiple locations throughout Hollywood Studios.
Betty Shambles was showing off some of her graceful dance steps early in the day. Ace Victory doesn’t seem too impressed.
However, even this adorable Snowman backpack can’t make me less angry for Evie Starlight not being present.
I’d still take Evie over $100. I CAN’T BE BOUGHT.
Santa Claus was meeting guests over at Once Upon A Time, and he’s giving away candy canes!
The Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run line stretched all the way down near the entrance to Toy Story Land. It’s sad when you think about how most of those people are not going to even be Pilots.
Keep it moving, nothing to see here.
Two trees were planted in between Red Carpet Dreams and the new bathroom expansion. They are still behind rolling planters, however.
Speaking of the new bathrooms, it seems the tops of the structure received some rust-colored trim.
While doors were also added to the building. Still unsure about the aesthetic that they’re going for, but progress is progress.
Legends of Hollywood had some fun little Star Wars hair sticks available. Picture your Leia buns with these accessorizing them. A pair of these will cost you $5.99!
I will give you the $100 bill Ace victory gave me if you can name the movie this is referencing.
While walking past the Chinese Theatre we spotted a sad sight. That green colored concrete was once the home to the Ruby Slippers imprint. (It’s probably in the process of being re-cast.) And on this day, in the middle of Hollywood Studios, I shed a tear. There’s only one thing that can cheer me up after this…
And there she is now. How lucky are all you reading this to be graced with a photo of Evie Starlight. In her honor, here’s a joke for you:
99 Beautiful starlets walk into a bar and the bartender says, “I can’t serve you beautiful starlets!” and the beautiful starlets say, “Why?” And the bartender says, “I can’t risk a bright star like you getting blacked out…” Ba-dum-ch!
Casablanca
Glad I looked at times and skipped today. Sheesh.
Casablanca!!!
Of course, Casablanca!
