From the monorail, we can see crew working on the giant turn plate for the swing arm bridge. There is a piece on land, set off to the side, that looks like it could line up with the rotating mechanism in the water. We’re excited for this project to be completed, so we’ll continue to watch and bring you more updates.

Let’s take a little look at some breakfast options in the park. The Magic Kingdom has a very limited number of selections for breakfast food, and we often overhear hangry families looking for nourishment. One of the first places you’ll come across is the Main Street Bakery, better known as Starbucks. The line is often long here, so if you don’t need a coffee fix, we suggest moving on.

If you make your way into Frontierland, Westward Ho has a breakfast sandwich, candied bacon skewer, and iced coffee on their menu. You can find this cart located just across from Pecos Bill’s Tall Tale Inn and Cafe.

Sleepy Hollow Refreshments almost always has a long line first thing in the morning. There are fruit and waffle sandwiches, breakfast egg and cheese sandwiches until noon, and other quick bites for hungry guests.

Two of the five floats are missing from Move it, Shake it, MousekeDance it! Street Party. Donald and Clarabelle are riding on a float together and Daisy and Goofy are also paired up.

The display pieces in some of the gift shops get really beaten up. We noticed Goofy’s head was missing, and Pluto was looking pretty guilty.

  1. I was here for the party on Monday. I made a special trip to teach down the window from which the liberty square pics were being taken. They really staple those curtains down!

  2. We were there last week. I can’t remember(in 40 years) the number of rides broken down. Splash mountain, Space Mountain, Little Mermaid, Test Track.
