The newest DVC location, Disney’s Riviera Resort, is set to open December 16th. The resort is influenced by European and Mediterranean architecture styles, while its decor incorporates contemporary and classic design aesthetics. The Riviera Resort will offer rooftop dining at Topolino’s Terrace and is conveniently connected to the Disney Skyliner, complete with its very own themed station. With less than a month away, we decided to check out what progress has been made on the project. Quite a lot of work has been done since our last update.
Working cast members and crew members were present onsite.
It appeared that there was some sort of lifeguard training going on by the pool. Perhaps First Aid?
The pool area seems pretty close to completion. Red and blue umbrellas have been put in place by the pool lounge area.
We adore the elephant water feature in the Fantasia-themed S’il Vous Play kiddie pool area. It’s so cute!
String lights have been hung at Topolino’s. These are sure to enhance the outdoor dining experience for guests.
We can’t wait to see the inside of the Riviera Resort once it’s opened. We can only imagine it will be as gorgeous as the outside. Will you be visiting the Riviera Resort? You can check out a Deluxe Studio room tour as well as a tour of a One-Bedroom Villa here.
As always, make sure to check WDWNT for all of your Disney construction updates!
I’m locked in for a week-long stay in June.
Can’t Wait!
Appreciate the pics & commentary.
