If you’re looking to beat the crowds and be among the first to line up at Disney’s Hollywood Studios for a Rise of the Resistance boarding group, logistics is key. While most guests have opted to take rideshare services or simply drive to the park in the early morning hours, with the newly announced park opening time of 7:00 AM, Disney is stepping up its own resort transportation to better assist guests.
Starting today, December 13th, through December 21st, the Disney Skyliner will open at 6:45 AM and run through 10:30 PM across all three lines.
In a similar vein, Minnie Vans (bookable through the Lyft app) will now be available starting at 5:00 AM.
Do note that if you’re looking to be among the first to ride Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, a 7:00 AM arrival may not even guarantee Boarding Group access. Boarding Groups have run out as early as 7:20 AM on some mornings, with today’s Boarding Groups fully distributed by 8:00 AM. If you’re planning on taking the Disney Skyliner, operating hours may still vary due to downtime or inclement weather.
i know they are only doing boarding groups now, is there any word out there when they may switch over to stand bys or fast passes we are going to be there march 2nd? thank you !
