Kali River Rapids at Disney’s Animal Kingdom will be closing for refurbishment in early 2020. This typically occurs annually, as temperatures drop in Florida.
Kali River Rapids is scheduled to be down from January 6, 2020 until March 20, 2020. It will reopen to guests on March 21, 2020, just in time for the busier spring season.
Do keep in mind that other popular attractions throughout Walt Disney World will also be closing early in the year for refurbishment, like Test Track over in EPCOT.
I swear I picked the worst time ever to have be my first (and likely only) trip to Disney World. I’m going the second two weeks in January and SOOOO much is closing or closed…
