Good morning from a very busy EPCOT park! The day started off stormy, but cleared up quickly. I guess that’s just good old Disney magic for ya! Let’s see what all is going on in the park today.
First, here’s a shot of those crowds. Today they held everyone outside of the MagicBand touchpoints until exactly 9:00am.
While strolling through MouseGear we found a few fun new items. This clip magnet is adorable and functional. Perfect for holding your best PhotoPass snap on the fridge! The magnet is $9.99.
We went to check the price for this “Red” tagged item, we consulted one of the handy color coded charts and saw a price change… in the form of a new price taped over the old price. This price change brought “Mint” labeled magnets and keychains to $9.99.
But on the next stand over the pricing was unchanged. Hmm… We’re not sure what to make of this, but will let you know if we see any further changes.
Then we spotted this cute magnetic list with the Park Life print!
Mickey and Minnie are so cute in their little teacup together. The notepad is $14.99.
Next we saw this hilarious pin with the seagulls from Finding Nemo shouting “MINE” in various languages. The pin is $9.99.
Over at The Seas pavilion, we noticed that the down escalator is finally working again!
We also spotted some divers cleaning off the Disney-made coral.
Test Track had a 90 minute wait early in the day that skyrocketed to 145 minutes later!
Over in the France pavilion expansion, all looks pretty quiet. No big updates or progress on the area for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and La Crêperie de Paris.
At the soon-to-open Regal Eagle Smokehouse restaurant location, we spotted new glass window panes for the pick-up and ordering windows. We can’t wait till this place opens!
On the way out to the monorail, we spotted this crumbling brick with ropes around it.
At the new Pin Traders and Camera Center, we found this beautiful set of EPCOT pavilion logo pins. Each pin is $17.99, except for the black and white pins which are $15.99 each. They are all Limited Edition of 1,200, so if you are dying over these pins, hurry to go snatch them up!
On our monorail ride, we saw that much of the concrete by the new Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind coaster has been filled in.
That’s all for today’s spin around the world at EPCOT! Check back with WDW News Today for daily updates and goings on in all your favorite Disney parks!
It would have been nice if we could have seen the front of the Mickey clip. And you found a broken piece of sidewalk. So what?
