Good morning from the monorail to the Magic Kingdom! We’re on our way to the park, but spotted some interesting changes to the walkway between the Grand Floridian and the Magic Kingdom. It appears as though some of the Walk Around the World bricks have been removed.
We can see a small patch of bricks are missing from the path. It appears there are stacks of replacement bricks wrapped in plastic close by. We knew this would happen, but it still hurts to watch. There are steel beams laying off to the side as well that might be part of a new structure built on the path.
The construction walls around the entrance don’t seem to have changed much from our last visit.
The crowds around the Magic Kingdom seem a little better this morning than they were leading up to Thanksgiving.
New Wishables plush have arrived themed to Frozen Ever After. Each blind bag is $9.99, and Olaf can be purchased on his own.
A new Adventureland themed PatcheD set has also arrived in the park, and this just might be our favorite set of patches yet. They’re $19.99 and are perfect for added a bit of Disney style to your clothes and accessories.
Uptown Jewelers has the new Frozen Dooney and Bourke bags available. The tote is really nice and features Elsa on one side and Anna on the other. It also zips closed across the top which is one of my favorite features on these kind of bags. The hangtags even feature Anna and Elsa’s signatures.
We’re still hoping the old sign returns here in Adventureland, or something new and exciting (not like Star Traders, please).
Big Top Souvenirs has hot chocolate and slushies available, since Florida weather can be so unpredictable. Hot or cold, they’ve got you covered.
Peter Pan roaming Fantasyland is the highlight of my day when visiting the Magic Kingdom. It’s fun to watch how much joy he brings so many guests while just wandering around and having fun.
Boxes still surround the tree in the new Liberty Square Market seating area. We heard these could possibly be charging stations, so we’ll be keeping an eye on it. Either way, this seating area got a much needed upgrade and we love the seating with umbrellas.
Tomorrowland still looks sad with scrims around the PeopleMover.
This little bear is one of my favorite decorations under the tree.
Thanks for following us around the Magic Kingdom today. We’ll see you again real soon!
