Greetings from the Magic Kingdom! It’s a soggy, rainy day here — where are our poncho people at? Hopefully, you’ve got your rain gear on, because we may be getting a little wet. Let’s go puddle jumping around Magic Kingdom!
The rain kept the crowds at bay this morning. Even though it’s the week of Christmas, the crowds weren’t too crazy.
We found some new Mickey and Minnie-inspired apparel in Curtain Call Collectibles. There’s a hooded Minnie top for $39.99.
There was also a pair of fun Mickey and Minnie hoodies for $64.99 each.
At Uptown Jewelers, there’s new high-end Disney Parks Collection jewelry. Who knew there was a market for $1,500 Mickey dog tags?
The mysterious construction box that was sitting in the walkway of Tomorrowland Terrace has disappeared. In its place is fresh, red concrete.
Yep… this rain wasn’t letting up at all. Tomorrowland was drenched.
Over at the TRON Lightcycle Run construction site, yellow posts have been installed near the coaster’s launch area. We believe this is the beginning of infrastructure that will expand the attraction’s building outward.
When viewing the TRON site from Storybook Circus, a walkway is now visible in the middle of the exterior track.
Oh, look! This squirrel outside The Lunching Pad is channeling our strategy for uncomfortable social settings. Step one: find a wall and hiding spot.
Step two: find snacks.
BABY YODA SOCKS! We didn’t know socks could be this adorable. These can be yours for $14.99.
Just in case there wasn’t enough water for you with the rain, the water features were still on in Storybook Circus.
In Liberty Square, there wasn’t a line for waffles at Sleepy Hollow. This is a rare sighting, so we had to document it!
This cute little decoration on the door in Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe was there to remind us that there’s only three days until Christmas. We hope you have your shopping finished!
Over in Adventureland at Plaza del Sol Caribe Bazaar, we found this purple and gold reversible bandana that will transform any landlubber into a swashbuckling pirate. The reverse side is a lace-like black and white print with skulls. It costs $11.95.
Pirates of the Caribbean experienced some downtime today. Cast members didn’t give any specific reason for the closure.
We think that about does it for us at Magic Kingdom. We’re ready to go inside and dry off! Thanks for following our day. Keep checking WDWNT for all of the latest Disney Parks news!
