Welcome to a very rainy day here at the Magic Kingdom. Poncho sales are through the roof, and everyone is trying to make the best of this gloomy weather. The weather might be yucky, but we’re at Disney and still happy to be here.

We’ve got our Arendelle Aqua Crocs on and an umbrella, so we’re ready to hit the park. Let’s go!

Maybe we’ll hit the shops first and hope the rain slows down a little.

phone cases - 12-29-19 - all

Inside the Emporium, we found some brand new phone cases. Boo’s door from “Monsters, Inc.” is my favorite, but the Maleficent phone case would match my Maleficent glow wings. Decisions, decisions…

mickey birthday ear hat - merch 2

The latest Mickey ear hat has arrived to celebrate the very best day ever: your birthday! These are a fun toned-down alternative to the colorful birthday ear hat and can be found at multiple locations around the park (including the Emporium) for $24.99.

The Main Street Bakery Starbucks location has an “express” lane to help with the crowds. This table can help you get basic coffee, donuts and a few select pastries. If you’re looking for specialty drink, sandwiches, or the full case of menu items, you’ll have to wait in the lines to the main registers. This is a nice option, though, for quick and simple coffee orders.

Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café opens at 9 a.m. this week to help with the hungry holiday crowds.

The line for Be Our Guest Restaurant is a little wild this morning.

There’s a lot of people enjoying the limited time breakfast offerings from Friar’s Nook.

The rain won’t stop us from enjoying “The Muppets Present… Great Moments in American History” during its limited-time run.

The boxes are gone from Liberty Square Market. There is more lighting in the area now, but we probably would have preferred some charging stations.

Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad were both down for technical issues at the same time. It was a very rough morning in Frontierland.

Looks like there’s a little bit of repair going on around this water fountain in Tomorrowland.

There’s a lot of adorable little Dumbo plushes to choose from inside Big Top Souvenirs. Just be careful your little one doesn’t fall in love with the $74.99 Steiff collectible plush that’s mixed in with the more affordable ones.

Speaking of little ones, The Child magnets have been pre-made and can be purchased instantly at the registers in Tomorrowland Light & Power Co. This is a nice option for those that don’t want to place an order for a magnet and then have to return to pick it up later.
