Hello to all the young and young at heart out there! We’re at the most magical place on earth, Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom. The sun is out and it’s a beautiful day, so let’s get going!
At the park’s front entrance, fresh concrete has been poured and the planters are taking shape. All of this construction work is a part of Magic Kingdom’s new arrival experience.
The new structure by the water is having another layer added to its roof.
As for the new boat dock being built, it appears that a trench of sorts has been dug up.
Now into the park! Some of the most exciting happenings on Main Street U.S.A. were in Main Street Cinema. An assortment of new items is now available, including Bob Iger’s new book, The Ride of a Lifetime.
There’s also now two beautiful picture books on the shelves. They are dedicated to the role women played at Walt Disney Studios. This first is centers around Mary Blair, her design aesthetic, and the instrumental part she played within the company.
Look at how gorgeous these illustrations are!
The second book focuses on the various women who worked within the animation department throughout the years.
Also, a box set of Marc Davis’ books on Imagineering is available.
A new line of merchandise inspired by a limited edition tile mosaic has appeared in Main Street Cinema. The original artwork is titled Tribute to The Fab 5 and costs $250.00.
The merchandise line includes a cup ($27.99), a journal ($25.00), a throw pillow ($29.99) and a button-up shirt ($85.00).
Two new cloth appliqué art pieces have also appeared. We can’t believe how much was going on in Main Street Cinema today!
In the Emporium, we spotted the latest addition to the Classic Cozy Knits Plush collection, Winnie the Pooh!
Work continues on TRON Lightcycle Run. More slats have been added to the side of the show building.
More support posts have been added to the attraction’s exterior area.
Even superheroes want to get on the holiday fun! At the D-Tech on Demand station in Tomorrowland Light & Power Co., we found these three phone case designs. They retail for $29.99 each.
Cosmic Ray’s resident crooner, Sonny Eclipse, was receiving a tune-up.
A new menu sign has been added at Storybook Treats, and well… it doesn’t look great. Rather than repainting the scroll sign, the menu has been printed on a thin plastic sign and wedged into place.
Good news! The shingles on the building besides Haunted Mansion have finally been finished. The project went unfinished for a while and was quite the eyesore. It looks great now!
A new sign was on display in Liberty Square Market, marking the entrance of the recently opened dining area.
Now it’s time to say goodbye…
