It’s been a rough few months at EPCOT since the beloved Fountain View Starbucks closed. And ever since demolition was completed, we’ve been left with siren and Frappuccino-shaped holes in our hearts. Fortunately, the temporary replacement is racing toward completion! As we announced last weekend, the temporary EPCOT Starbucks is located near Refreshment Port and the new World Showcase restrooms. The projected target date for opening is Friday, December 20th.

It appears that the building will be rather small. The presence of large windows and no doors would probably mean it’s an outdoor pickup-only kiosk rather than a location with seating. Maybe there’ll be seats around the structure? Additionally, the paneling on the side indicates that the store will follow Starbucks’ current aesthetic and design language for new stores.

As mentioned earlier, this new Starbucks is located adjacent to Refreshment Port on the newly-expanded Rose Path. It’s quite close to the new restrooms, as well. This temporary location will offer a selection of Starbucks beverages, pastries, and breakfast sandwiches. So if you’re at EPCOT after December 20th and crave a good ol’ Frappuccino, just head on over to the new temporary Starbucks in World Showcase! Until then, you can still get your coffee fix by visiting any one of the Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Co. kiosks throughout the park.
