Welcome to another exciting day around the Magic Kingdom. The holidays might be over, but the decorations are still lingering. It’s a sunny day and we’re ready to explore. Let’s head to Tomorrowland to check out the latest happenings around the PeopleMover.

More of the support beams around the PeopleMover have been wrapped up. Some of them are still exposed, but many of them have received a gray wrap to help them blend in.

The metal pieces along the edges have also been removed along most of the track. Some places still have longer sections, while others, such as above the giant Stitch, have just a single piece hanging on.

Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café has made a horrible decision. They have removed the crispy onion straws and replaced them with relish. This was a really poor decision, if you ask me. Those onion straws and Sonny Eclipse are the only reasons I go to Cosmic Ray’s. Don’t get any ideas.

On a better note, Friar’s Nook was still offering breakfast. There are not nearly enough breakfast options in the park. This is a prime location for guests who arrive early for 7 Dwarfs Mine Train and other Fantasyland attractions. Nobody wants to deal with a hangry family and all the crowds, so at least feed the people.

Some personalized ears were available. If you purchase a Mickey ear hat, you can take them to Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe and have them personalized for a small fee. These hats were already decorated, and were an additional $12 each for the decoration.

Splash Mountain is under refurbishment. Water was drained, walls were up, and there were plenty of people hard at work.

Inside the Briar Patch, new Splash Mountain merchandise has arrived. A new shirt and sweatshirt are available. The gray shirt even reveals a message when wet.
