It seems the new Future World East walkway was extended just a little bit today, allowing you to get up close and personal with old Universe of Energy pavilion, home of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.

A few days ago this entire area was roped off from guests allowing you to only walk to the start of the show building, but today it seems to be a free-for-all.

The now open path extends almost all the way to the end of the building with planters set up to connect to construction walls just a few feet away. This will eventually open up as well as a means of looping back around to Guest Relations and for quicker access to the front of the park.

Smaller versions of the tall lights along the beginning of the pathway can be found down at this end.

While we were able to see the taller ones in our last update, these are significantly shorter while sharing the same overall design.

There are still construction walls up however to the left of the pathway which is just around the corner from the new temporary MouseGear location. If you still haven’t picked up your passholder magnets, you’ll be sure to get a good view of all of this when you do so.
