Work on Reflections – A Disney Lakeside Lodge continues to move forward along the shores of Bay Lake. Today, we stopped by to see the latest work on site. From Wilderness Lodge, we can see several pieces of heavy equipment hard at work on site.

Work along the shoreline between the Reflections site and Wilderness Lodge has expanded. These will be the home to several lakeside bungalows, akin to those at Wilderness Lodge and the Polynesian Village Resort.

Large trucks are on site delivering more and more heavy machinery to the site.

On the approach to the Fort Wilderness boat dock, we can plainly see all the way into the site itself. Various pieces of conduits and drainage piping is on site, and large dirt piles have started to rise from the ground at various spots.

From the dock, the old beach has now completely been enveloped in the construction.

Behind Crocket’s Tavern, the walkway dead ends with green construction fencing down towards where the old River Country entrance once was.

Over near the restrooms for Hoop-Dee-Do Revue, more green fencing blocks our view of what eventually be part of the parking lot for Reflections – A Disney Lakeside Lodge.

The fencing continues all the way down towards the Settlement bus stop.

From this walkway, we can get a good view of the renovated Tri-Circle-D Ranch stables.

The site rises above the fencing that blocks off the road that once connected Fort Wilderness to Wilderness Lodge.
