Welcome to a busy, chilly race weekend here at Walt Disney World. The temperatures have dropped quickly and the crowds are filling up the gift shops grabbing every sweatshirt and pair of leggings in sight. Let’s see what’s happening around the park today.
Betsey Johnson has released a new collection of jewelry and designer ears inspired by “The Little Mermaid”. The ears feature flip sequins and many other fin-tastic details.
Check out Flounder, Sebastian, and the dinglehopper!
The ears retail for $148 but when we were leaving the park, the ears were already sold out.
”Ink & Paint” merchandise has taken over. A new dress, MagicBand, and collection of Dooney & Bourke bags have arrived at Uptown Jewelers. There are four styles of handbags to match the dress and limited edition MagicBand.
The crowds are rough today. The lines for food this morning are crazy. Everyone is waiting patiently for their cinnamon rolls from Gaston’s Tavern.
The line for a Cheshire Cat Tail is similar to the lines for the attractions.
There’s even a MagicBand for Villains After Hours at the Magic Kingdom.
If you’re not into villains, there are also 3 styles of Princess Half Marathon MagicBands on demand, too.
Brightly color, whimsical new popcorn boxes, inspired by Mary Blair, can be found at various carts around the park.
The moat around Cinderella Castle is being prepared for the transformation. The water has started to drain in some locations.
That’s all for today. Be sure to keep following WDWNT for more updates from Walt Disney World and beyond.
