Osceola County Also Issuing Stay-At-Home Mandate Through April 9; Walt Disney World Resort Encompassed Under Local Regulations

With stay-at-home orders issued for Orange County yesterday, it seems the neighboring Osceola County is following suit with yet another stay-at-home order, according to the Orlando Sentinel.

The new order will fall in line with Orange County’s guidelines, starting tomorrow, March 26 at 11:00 PM for the duration of two weeks through April 9. More details are expected at a 4:00 PM news conference today.

Yesterday’s Orange County stay-at-home order do’s and don’ts.

Walt Disney World Resort mainly resides within Orange County, with parts of it located within Osceola County. Disney has yet to make any official announcements at this point, but the two-week period would put the closure past the originally-stated April 1 reopening date for Walt Disney World. Expected reopening at this point would be April 10 at the earliest. An internal email sent out to all Florida-based Cast Members last night instructed them to follow the new mandate regulations.

We’ll continue to update this post as further information arises.
