The Grand Floridian Resort & Spa’s lobby is home to some incredible chocolate eggs during Easter, and 2019 was no exception to the beauty that comes out of celebrating Easter at Walt Disney World! Let’s take a look back at 2019’s grand egg display crafted by the bakery team at the resort.
Several of these are brought back year to year. Between the old and the new, we counted over 40 eggs!
The displays were divided up into three main tables.
The classic art painted on this egg looks like it took hours to create and the end result was beautiful.
The Evil Queen turned her egg into a bubbling cauldron.
Fancy cats for a fancy hotel lobby: The Aristocats!
I could stare at this silver carousel all day! Can you imagine the hours put into this egg?
A giant pearl egg and I can’t tell what parts of this are edible. It looks too real!
The Nightmare Before Christmas, as many forget, does have a scene with the Easter Bunny. So clever!
“Why should I worry? Why should I care?”
This one just makes me miss the Great Movie Ride.
If I had a magic lamp, one of my wishes would probably be for a giant chocolate egg.
This one has pictures of egg sculptures from years gone by.
The back side of this egg is the best. It has the ofrenda from “Coco.”
This one has references to both the original Mary Poppins film, as well as “Mary Poppins Returns.”
This one referenced several different princess all around the base. Who all do you see?
Thank you for taking another tour of Grand Floridian’s egg display from 2019! We may not have any new ones to see this year, but I can’t wait for the egg displays next year. Until then, enjoy some of the other moments we’ve relived to celebrate Easter today:
