WATCH: Relive Happily Ever After in Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World and Be Inspired to Recreate Your Favorite Nighttime Spectacular

Last week, we informed you of a contest we’re hosting here at WDWNT! We’re asking you to try your best to recreate your favorite show in whatever way you want––that includes narration, homemade floats, characters, dancing, outfits, and more! We can’t wait to see what you come up with! We’ll also show the submissions on our nighttime show WDW News Tonight! For complete rules of the contest, visit our official contest post.

Today, to get you inspired to create, and because we miss the parks, we’re going to relive some of Walt Disney World’s and Disneyland’s nighttime spectaculars.

Happily ever after

To start, let’s begin with perhaps the happiest one of all: Happily Ever After. Happily Ever After debuted at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom on May 12, 2017. It features fireworks and projection mapping across Cinderella Castle, including so many of our favorite animated friends and I find myself singing along many times to its catchy theme song throughout the day. Our own Tom Corless reviewed the new nighttime display, marking it as “the nighttime spectacular that Walt Disney World deserves.

Happiness. How could you recreate this?! I can’t wait to see. Keep reading WDWNT today as we relive some of our favorite nighttime spectaculars and help you find inspiration to create your own!
