Do you know what time of day Disney releases items? It seems that, at least with these posters, I watch for them everyday, and when they get released and I go to purchase, they are already sold out.
I purchased the Maelstrom poster at 0830 EST for my wife, as this is her favorite ride of all time and I thought it would be an amazing gift for Mother’s Day. I could not buy a single thing for her from the Star Wars day merchandise, so I was happy that at least I got her the limited poster. 4:30 PM I get an email from ShopDisney:

I am so mad and distrusting at this site as I have not been able to get my wife a single thing that they have put up for collectors that I have tried to get her!
Cancelled here also. Now, if we still want one, we can always go to eBay and find the already-listed high-priced posters from those people whose orders Disney appears to have honored. :(
I agree with you on the trust issue. For general items in which stock will return, cancellations are no issue. This was poor planning. Perhaps they cancelled all orders (for some unforeseen reason).
Now for some useful advice. I have been able to get a few of these posters in the past, but probably won’t try again (especially with non-limited prints available on eBay). In my opinion, they are not that impressive. For your wife, I would check out those prints on eBay. You can get a few of them for the price of one of these posters.

It’s not a glitch, their items don’t go offline when they sell out. This happened for the last poster release and all of the limited edition pin releases over the last 2 months.
Did I miss something? Where/when do they announce these go on sale? I’ve searched almost every day first thing in the morning and there is no notifications for these posters!
