Just earlier today, we mentioned that MagicBand orders had been temporarily discontinued due to the theme park closure, but with the reopening of Walt Disney World resorts and theme parks imminent, MagicBands have returned to My Disney Experience! With new social distancing guidelines and efforts to go “contactless”, MagicBands will be highly encouraged (that is, if you don’t use them already) throughout the phased reopening of Walt Disney World.
Currently, guests with current reservations (remember to confirm or modify by the deadline) can now choose from complimentary or special pre-order premium MagicBands for their upcoming stays. You can order up to 11 days before your expected arrival date to have your MagicBands shipped to your home, which will expedite Online Check-In and enable you to participate in the Direct-to-Room Service for social distancing.

Do keep in mind that new reservations, vacation bookings, plus ticket sales are temporarily suspended. (Disney Vacation Club members can still make new reservations.) Only guests with existing, confirmed reservations will be able to proceed and make MagicBand selections for those upcoming trips.
