With the return of MagicBand orders and Build-a-Band upgrades on My Disney Experience for upcoming Walt Disney World Resort stays, we’ve just spotted a special experiment running amok amongst the options.
A new Stitch Birthday MagicBand has been quietly added to the Pre-Arrival Exclusive lineup, and it retails for $29.99. These bands can be personalized on the interior to feature your name, family name, or simply a special set of characters (up to 9) to customize your band.
The band shows Stitch sitting atop a polka-dotted birthday cake, holding a set of lit candles. The white MagicBand base is spotted with multicolored polka dots, plus a bunch of presents along the lower edges of the band. This would be the perfect choice for anyone celebrating their special day (or unbirthday) at the parks or resorts in the upcoming months.
As a reminder, Pre-Arrival Exclusives are somewhat limited in quantity, and we’ve seen designs sell out quickly before, so if you have a confirmed trip coming up, make sure you pick out your bands sooner than later for the best selection. You can order up to 11 days before your expected arrival date to have your MagicBands shipped to your home, which will expedite Online Check-In and enable you to participate in the Direct-to-Room Service for social distancing.

The new “Castle & Fireworks” MagicBand that recently debuted at Pin Traders in Disney Springs is also available for pre-order, albeit at regular price.
To access your MagicBand orders, just click under “My MagicBands and Cards” on the My Disney Experience drop-down menu on the Walt Disney World website. Do keep in mind that new reservations, vacation bookings, plus ticket sales are temporarily suspended. (Disney Vacation Club members can still make new reservations.) Only guests with existing, confirmed reservations will be able to proceed and make MagicBand selections for those upcoming trips.
