PHOTOS: New Signage on Magic Kingdom Trash Cans Reminds Guests About Updated Face Covering Policy

Walt Disney World recently updated its official face mask policy to ensure that guests keep all face-coverings on unless they are actively eating or drinking while stationary, and socially distanced. The policy was updated to further deter guests from walking around the parks without the proper face coverings.

Today, we saw this policy update reflected in the trash can signage throughout the Magic Kingdom.

Trash cans throughout Tomorrowland at the Magic Kingdom have signage reflecting the policy update.

The sign reads, “face coverings are to be worn at all times except when actively eating or drinking while stationary and physically distanced.”

We also found trash cans in Fantasyland reflecting the update. Audio announcements throughout the Magic Kingdom have been reminding guests of the face covering rules as well. For tips and suggestions on wearing a face mask at Walt Disney World, be sure to check out our in-depth guide.
