After a nearly four-month closure, EPCOT is once again open for guests. And since we’ve already shown you the arrival experience at the park’s main entrance, we thought we’d show you what it’s like over at the entrance at International Gateway!
While it’s on a slightly smaller scale than the main entrance, all of the element’s we’ve seen at park entrances can be found here.
With today also being the official reopening of Disney’s Hollywood Studios, it marks the return of the Disney Skyliner system, with gondolas connecting the two parks with several resort hotels.
From this angle, gondolas dancing on the line actually look quite artistic set against the back of the France Pavilion.
Signage directs guests to the temperature screening tent, while reminding them to wear face masks and socially distance.
Social distancing markers can be seen on the ground as guests near the tents.
Once screened, it’s on to the security checkpoint and entrance gate.
Signage directs guests to keep all their belongings in their bags as they pass through security.
Friendship Boats are currently unavailable, but are scheduled to return July 29th.
Banners in the area remind guests of the Taste of EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival.
New, “contactless” security screening is in place, meaning you don’t have to hand off your bags—just walk on through!
For Annual Passholders, a dedicated entrance can be found on the far right of the entry gates.
Once inside, we were greeted by a group of Cast Members who seemed very happy to see guests again!
We’re happy to see you, too!
One Cast Member from the Canada Pavilion waves the nation’s flag.
Not to be outdone, a pair of Cast Members on the nearby bridge wave the French flag. It is good to be back at EPCOT!
