Dragon Fire’s got a kick. Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure is down today at Universal’s Islands of Adventure after a small fire erupted backstage.
The fire took place yesterday, and with guests escorted away from the coaster, it was extinguished quickly. No injuries were reported.
A-frame signs are up at the park and attraction entrance warning guests that the attraction is “Not Operating Today”. Currently, it’s unknown when the ride will be back up and running.

Or just a lame excuse to shut it down..! Why must they over exaggerate everything in this world! So annoying! I’m sure it was a teeny fire that caused zero damage and just another reason they can use to shut down this already constantly shut down ride!
Geez relax ..its the not the end of the world. Its for everyone’s safety. I guess your one of the people that believe the pandemic was an exaggeration as well and your roaming an amusement park with probably about 80% corona virus infected people. Weird.
My daughter and I were on it when this happened. It was handled by well by the staff and no panic took place. Got a nice ‘behind the scenes’ tour as we were escorted back to the loading area 🙂
