We stopped by Disney’s Hollywood Studios to see what was in store for us at the Hollywood that never was – and always will be.

Many parties were thankfully practicing social distancing.

Guests flock to Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance at the time of their secured boarding group.

Following social distancing guidelines, only limited parties of guests are allowed in Black Spire Outpost Marketplace.

A pair of stormtroopers on patrol—social distancing style.

After visiting Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, we enter Toy Story Land where we are immersed in Andy’s backyard.

Toy Story Land has been plagued with maintenance issues since day one, most notably paint peeling in numerous places.

Paint is peeling on the rooftops of Alien Swirling Saucers.

The Play Family Camper is also in need of a repair. The top is scorched.

The walls at the exit of Toy Story Mania are also having some paint issues.

Hopefully Disney will get this paint touched up soon.

There is no visible progress on the new Roundup Rodeo BBQ restaurant.

This new Miguel plush is available at Mickey’s of Hollywood for $22.99.

This Minnie Mouse EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival 2020 Charm is now available at Pandora for $59.90.

The “Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular!” theater temporarily reopened as a Mobile Order wait area.

Guests waiting for their Backlot Express Mobile Order can enter the exit of the theater and sit down in available rows. Do note that while the area is designated for Mobile Order guests, guests simply looking for a shaded place to sit are also welcome to enjoy the space. However, guests must keep their masks on at all times, as this is not an assigned Relaxation Station—those are over in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and at Star Wars Launch Bay.

To aid social distancing, some rows are roped off and entire segments are also blocked out to avoid guests sitting filling up entire rows.

Cast members are stationed at the base of the stairs to prevent guests from jumping onto the stage and making stunt shows of their own.

The theater is only open during the lunch rush. It was open from 12:00pm to 1:45pm during our visit.

Star Wars Mission Fleet toys are now available at Tatooine Traders.
