With face masks required at Walt Disney World Resort right now, Disney has been offering various stylish cloth masks online and in stores. But if none of those masks fit your fancy, or you need a new mask in a pinch, Disney has been installing face mask vending machines across the property.
We first saw a mask vending machine back when the Magic Kingdom first opened. These machines are in the temperature screening tents at the Transportation and Ticket Center.
If you forget your mask and don’t want to be turned away, you can purchase one for $2. The machine takes cash or credit, plus contactless options like Apple Pay.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios added a face mask vending machine next to Coca-Cola machines.
Face masks are available also for $2 at this machine.
Finally, we spotted this machine in the Orange Garage at Disney Springs, also near the temperature check.
Each mask costs $2 and the machines take contactless payment.
These masks are disposable and are not meant to be reused, but should be good for a day at the parks or Disney Springs.
We expect to see more of these machines showing up at EPCOT and Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
They are also available at the Magic Kingdom Resort Bus Station as well
Typical, just another way Chapek is squeezing as much money as he can from the tourists who had to scrape and save just to make it their only trip. Face masks should be FREE considering it’s a REQUIREMENT. It’s not an optional luxury for people, it’s something everyone HAS to have. What’s next, installing credit card machines on the toilets and you can’t go to the bathroom without paying a toll?
