The long saga of the MagicBand Slap Bracelets may have finally reached a happy ending.
The MagicBands have finally returned to Walt Disney World after being recalled just weeks after they were released in November due to issues with the RFID technology in the interchangeable icon pucks. With their return, it seems like the problems may have been resolved.
Currently, the ones we could find are the ones featuring Mickey and Friends, Orange Bird, Stitch and Olaf (which is a limited release). Also included is the Figment MagicBand Slap Bracelet, which arrived at Walt Disney World in January.
We found all of these in the Emporium at the Magic Kingdom.

With the slap bands, can the puck / carrier be slipped off the band? If so, I wonder what the width of the slap band is. Maybe this could be a semi-official attachment for use on a standard watch band (instead of resorting to a 3rd party one from Amazon / etc.).
