PHOTOS: Video Globe Fully Functioning Again in Project Tomorrow at EPCOT; “Send a Postcard” Kiosks Still Shut Down

During a recent visit to Project Tomorrow, located at the exit to Spaceship Earth in EPCOT, we noticed that all of the effects for the futuristic games, “Send a Postcard” touch kiosks, as well as the video globe in the center, had been turned off. During a late-night trip to the future this evening, we were surprised to see the video globe effects had once again been restored.

Once again, guests can now see their faces and snapshots from the custom on-ride video.

The video globe in the center of the room is fully functioning again, brightening up the space and pointing out where the different guests are traveling up from.

While all of the video screens around the room seem to be working again, the “send a postcard” kiosks are still off.

These kiosks allowed guests to email a copy of their custom on-ride video to themselves.

We’re excited to see the effects in this room turned back on as they truly bring life and light to Project Tomorrow. Keep reading WDWNT for more information on all of the changes surrounding Walt Disney World as its phased reopening continues.
