Greetings, programs! Work continues to race along at the future site of TRON Lightcycle / Run in the Magic Kingdom, so let’s enter the Game… er Construction Grid!

From Fantasyland, we can see portions of the illuminated canopy that will shelter the exterior coaster track continue to be erected.

It doesn’t look like any new canopy pieces have been brought out since our last visit, so it’s possible they could be waiting to raise the ones already there.

Construction workers always seem to be busy here. There’s never any shortage of vehicles or equipment!

Past the massive concrete column, we can see another structure supporting some of the track columns being built.

In time, guests will zooming along this track on their own Lightcycles.

From the lower part of The Barnstormer’s queue, we get this unique perspective that illustrates how much work is left to be done.

TRON Lightcycle / Run is set to be completed in 2021, barring any further delays. The Magic Kingdom guidemap does declare the coaster is “Now Programming” which indicates that Disney is planning on opening it sooner rather than later.
