Merchandise from Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is now being sold in the Emporium on Main Street, U.S.A. Initially, these items were supposed to be sold exclusively in the land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios to help sell the immersive theming, but slowly, they were sold in other shops at the park.

We found journals, talking BB-8 and R2-D2 headbands and toys, many of them bearing tags from the Droid Depot.

While it seems odd to see this merchandise in another park, with the Park Pass reservation system here to stay for the time being, it does offer a chance for guests not able to visit Disney’s Hollywood Studios a chance to at least take home some part of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge… that is, if they haven’t been to Target yet.

Does seeing themed souvenirs outside of Batuu destroy the thematic integrity of the land, or does it level the playing field? Share your thoughts in the comments!

  1. As long as you don’t see merchandise from outside Galaxy’s Edge come into the land, it’s fine. Especially with the reservation system in place.
