The Halloween Horror Nights rumor mill is bubbling today, with fans eager for some form of spooky action in the parks with the start of Halloween season.
Rumored to being next week, two houses are expected to open during the day at Universal Studios Florida. If you look closely at recent park hour changes, September 19 now lists an 8:00 PM close for the park. The new offering would be available only on Saturdays at first, and then Wednesday through Saturday starting in mid-October. No details are available on the logistics of exactly how these houses would work in light of new health and safety measures.
As with all rumors, this has yet to be confirmed by Universal Orlando Resort, but we will keep you informed as to any updates. As a reminder, Halloween Horror Nights (as in, the event itself) is officially cancelled this year, with only the Tribute Store available for HHN-branded merchandise.

Well, that would be great if Saturdays at Universal weren’t already hell on earth right now.
Absolutely not. They cancel it citing safety reasons, it has not gotten any more safe. If anything the parks are filling me and makes it more unsafe to run such a packed indoor event. You still can’t safely have scareactors working at a 6ft wide gap or people walking through the houses spread enough or in a timely manner.
Plus everyone has cancelled their time off work, reservations and tickets so it’s completely unfair to most of the fans.
Yes I would love to see it happen hopefully it would bring in more business reach capacity during the week so I’m can return to work
