Walt Disney World Files Permits for Polynesian Village Resort “Moana” Room Refurbishment

The refurbishment has started on the Great Ceremonial House at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, but there’s much more to be done in the resort rooms, some of which are receiving Moana theming. New permits suggest refurbishment of the rooms will begin soon.

The seven permits each correspond to one of the seven buildings at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort:

The contractor for the refurbishment is Friedrich Watkins Company (FWC). FWC also created the pirate-themed rooms at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, which we recently toured.
