- Although Disneyland can’t reopen yet, an agreement was reached with 11 Cast Member unions ensuring a smooth reopening process when possible

- President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron has announced a daily curfew for the Île-de-France region, which includes the city of Paris and Disneyland Paris

Disney+
- A media analyst group, MoffettNathanson, has raised concerns about Disney’s priority shift to the streaming branch of the company
- A fresh trailer for “Soul” dropped on Disney+, which was pulled from the theatrical lineup and instead will be available on the streaming service Christmas Day
The Walt Disney Company
- In a letter to Bob Iger and Bob Chapek, Senator Elizabeth Warren questioned their decision to lay off 28,000 workers after reinstating executive salaries
- Responding in a brief statement to CNBC, Disney said Warren’s letter was filled with inaccuracies and left it at that
- Chapek blames California’s overly “stringent” guidelines for COVID-19 safety as the reason Disneyland remains closed
