Magic Kingdom

- The refurbishment of Magic Kingdom’s toll plaza is halfway to completion, with approximately four weeks remaining in the project
- Magic Kingdom has extended its park hours for November weekends and the week of Christmas to accommodate crowds

- We had an exciting day finding all the new things around the park to bring to you, so join us on our photo tour of EPCOT
- Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure may not open until next year, but the rest of the expansion continues to reveal more details, like the new awnings and ride warning signage that were recently installed
Disney’s Animal Kingdom

- Two baby animals were born at Disney’s Animal Kingdom this month — the park welcomed a baby aardvark and a baby giraffe
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels
- While ‘Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort has not reopened since the pandemic shutdown, its neighbor, Tambu Lounge has, and with ‘Ohana still closed today, Tambu Lounge has expanded into ‘Ohana’s seating area to make room for more guests
Other Walt Disney World News
- After Magic Kingdom extended its holiday park hours, now all Walt Disney World theme parks have extended their hours for the days surrounding Christmas, December 20 through 30
- And then after the holidays, park hours are going back to their pre-holiday schedule at EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Disneyland Resort
- Despite reopening plans in place for shopping and dining at Disney California Adventure, a Disneyland spokesperson clarified to Patch that there are no plans to reopen Main Street U.S.A. in Disneyland Park
New Merchandise

- A few days after the rest of the collection launched, the Wishes Come True Blue face mask by Spirit Jersey is now available at Walt Disney World
- Now you can add a Walt Disney World Denim Spirit Jersey to your wardrobe direct from Mouse Gear at EPCOT
- The new line of Starbucks ceramic tumblers made their debut at World of Disney at Disney Springs this week and now the matching ornaments are showing up all over the place, including the Magic Kingdom version which has arrived at the Emporium and the EPCOT version which has arrived at Port of Entry
- With Disney Babies unveiling of a new Dug plush at the Disneyland Resort, everyone’s favorite dog from Up is now available as a puppy, potty training unnecessary
- Two new Alex and Ani bracelets have arrived at Walt Disney World — the first features Mickey and Minnie sharing a kiss while ice-skating, while the second is part of the Wishes Come True Blue collection to benefit Make-A-Wish
- Several new The Haunted Mansion pins featuring prominent ghosts have appeared in Walt Disney World

- It’s never fun when you’re having pass issues while visiting a Disney park, but for legendary television writer and producer Shonda Rhimes, it was the breaking point that prompted her to leave her longtime home at ABC and move to Netflix
Universal Studios
Universal Studios Japan
- The new Monsters De Dance show on Mel’s Stage allows Guests to enjoy both the Rat-tat-tat dance and the new Social Dis-Dance with the iconic monsters, and now you can practice along at home with our video on YouTube
Universal Orlando Resort

- Universal Orlando’s Cinematic Celebration is slated to return to Universal Studios Florida tonight, October 24, at 9:45 PM, and now Universal Orlando’s showtimes page has updated to show the nighttime spectacular is also scheduled for October 25 and October 31
- As of 11:23 AM, Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure have reached their modified capacity for the third weekend in a row
- Just days after we reported that holiday decorations had gone up around Universal’s Islands of Adventure, even more yuletide décor has appeared at Seuss Landing
