As was revealed in the concept art for the newly reimagined entrances at Walt Disney World for its 50th anniversary, the Cinderella Castle cloud design and “Where Dreams Come True” tagline has now been removed from the Western Way entrance.

The designs were added for the Year of a Million Dreams in 2006. The “Where Dreams Come True” tagline will eventually be replaced with “The Most Magical Place on Earth” along a gold banner.

So far, we’ve seen royal blue added to the Walt Disney World archway as well as the lower left-hand corner where the Mickey figure is. The red-lettered logo will also be replaced with crisp white letters, and iridescent rose gold flags much like the colors we’re now seeing added to the Magic Kingdom toll plaza—to match the new color scheme of Cinderella Castle. Flags were removed just yesterday for refinishing.

Progress is being made on the back of the archway, with a section of royal blue also painted along the archway.
