EPCOT guests looking to take a stroll around Crescent Lake this evening for New Year’s Eve should be advised that Cast Members are scanning MagicBands for reservations at the bridge from International Gateway.

For access to Disney’s BoardWalk and Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resorts, guests must have a valid resort or dining reservation to enter.

With the theme parks closing before midnight tonight, it seems this new precaution is being taken to avoid a rush of guests at each resort. Most resort lounges are staying open past midnight, and with some closing as late as 1:00 AM, they may prove popular for merrymakers looking to celebrate New Year’s Eve.

  1. We dined at Frontera last night and it was quite lovely. Outdoors, fresh food and not too crowded at springs

  2. I guess that makes sense. You all let us know if they start forbidding non-ticket holders to venture from the Boardwalk onto the skyliner though (like I plan to do in February 😆)
