New Year’s Eve is nearly here, and Raglan Road is getting ready to send 2020 off with a different kind of Irish goodbye!
The restaurant and performance space will host a live-stream of “The Irish Show” from Disney Springs on New Year’s Eve beginning at 8:45 PM and ending at 9 PM Eastern.
The show can be seen on Raglan Road’s Facebook page. Disney’s official description of the show reads, “Get jig-gy with them! Head to Raglan Road for a vibrant, toe-tappin’ show that tells the musical and visual story of Ireland’s folklore-laden culture—from ancient times to today. Kids are invited to join the dancers onstage during each performance to learn a few steps and create unforgettable memories!” While audience participation may not happen due to COVID-19 safety measures, with music and dancing, it’s sure to be a grand time.
While New Year’s Eve might not be exactly the same as usual at Walt Disney World this year, there will still be scaled-down festivities, including pre-recorded videos of fireworks at resort hotels and sparkling wine and chocolate truffles available at select counter-service restaurants. Even the misery of 2020 can’t dampen the holiday spirit around The Most Magical Place on Earth!
