Join the Rebellion with this new x-wing pilot helmet now available at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The helmet is available at Resistance Supply, which just reopened at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
We found it odd that a Rebellion instead of a Resistance helmet was available. We would have expected to find Rebel merchandise inside Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities.
But we weren’t complaining about the opportunity to pick up this detailed costume piece.
It’s plastic with cushioned pieces inside that attach with Velcro.
There are scuff marks and design elements all over the helmet.
It has a faux microphone sticking out of the front. There are different modes that play different sounds from Star Wars.
The visor shield slides up and down.
We found it a little tight with the padding inside.
There’s three cushions, one for the top of the helmet and two for either side. The chin strap is also removable.
Though it might not be as safe for actual flying, we felt more comfortable in the helmet without the padding.

How does this compare to the Black series helmet?
This looks like it’s the Black Series helmet just repackaged and cheaper. That’s a fun helmet though.
