Reality TV Personality Arrested For Punching a Cast Member After Making COVID-19 Joke at Walt Disney World

Reality TV personality Spectacular Blue Smith of “Love & Hip Hop: Miami” on VH1 (also a member of the hip-hop group Pretty Ricky) is facing charges after punching a Walt Disney World Cast Member while in line for an attraction at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

According to the arrest affidavit, Smith was in line for an undisclosed attraction at Disney’s Animal Kingdom on Monday night when he made a sneezing gesture and said “coronavirus”. A nearby Cast Member told him the gesture wasn’t funny, to which Smith replied “I thought it was.” In response, the Cast Member asked him to leave the line twice, but Smith refused. The Cast Member then tried to block him from walking further in line. Smith then punched the Cast Member twice, on his right side jaw and right temple area.

The Cast Member was taken to a hospital as a precaution, and was found to have suffered a concussion. Smith faces a misdemeanor battery charge for the incident, but has since posted bond.

This is just one of many unfortunate incidents to have taken place at Disney’s Animal Kingdom over the past few months, including an incident where a Cast Member was tackled by a guest on LSD.

  1. People who become violent in the parks should be banned for life, regardless of their fame, fortune, or anything else.

  2. No doubt another day guest. When is Disney going to finally put their foot down and refuse the day guests entry into the parks? It is bad enough that they pollute the parks with their presence, especially in the dining areas such as Pecos Bill’s, but now they are becoming more violent and pose a threat to the innocent families that are annual pass members.

  3. Man the world continues to get worse and worse. These poor cast members who go out of their way to make sure everybody is safe and having a wonderful time do not deserve this garbage, and from so many rich awful celebrities who go and think they deserve more than others.

  4. What a mature person. He really thought that that was a funny thing to do. Hope his made to pay that disney worker a large sum of money. Or he will have learned nothing about being a real man!

  5. Another entitled celebrity being a moron! I hope the cast member gets money for this person’s idiocy. I wonder if it is related to all the alcohol establishments Disney has integrated into their parks.

    • Disney Animak Kingdom has always sold alcohol but this is not the case. Some guests just believe that they can do whatever they feel like doing and suffer no repercussions.

  6. Completely inappropriate and disproportionate response first by the cast member (it was clearly a joke), and then likewise by the reality show clown.

  7. Cast members should not have the right to ask someone to leave a line on an amusement park ride over a joke about coronavirus, they deserved to it.
