Tokyo Disney Resort to Pilot Sales of Tokyo DisneySea Early Entry Tickets for Hotel Guests Starting February 20

As the Oriental Land Company explores additional ways to increase revenue from Guests visiting Tokyo Disney Resort, it seems they will be piloting a new upcharge service—early entry to the Disney Parks for Hotel Guests. The program will be underway from February 20th through March 31st as a test to gauge Guest interest.

The tickets will be sold to Guests at all four Disney Hotels at Tokyo Disney Resort for Â¥3000 ($29.02) including tax and will be offered from February 20th through March 31st, 2021. For now, these tickets will grant admission to Tokyo DisneySea from 8am, instead of the park’s 9am opening time. Guests must also purchase a separate One-Day Passport in order to take advantage of the Early Entry Ticket. Please note that not all experiences or facilities may be available for these Guests.

This seems to be a pilot program, possibly as a replacement for the currently-suspended (and free of charge) Happy 15 Entry system for Hotel Guests, allowing those staying at the DIsney Hotels to enter the park 15 minutes ahead of everyone else. Time will tell if it becomes permanent or is expanded to Tokyo Disneyland.
