Magic Kingdom

- The Walt Disney World Railroad in Magic Kingdom has been closed for two years as of this week as construction of TRON Lightcycle / Run continues near the track and finally, construction walls and scrims have now gone up around the Main Street U.S.A. station
- And over at the site of TRON Lightcycle / Run in Tomorrowland, several canopy pieces were visible waiting for installation when we visited the construction site
EPCOT
- Join us for a photo tour of EPCOT as we see the new mobile checkout in use at Mouse Gear, the Innoventions West building has been gutted, Mexico Pavilion ears arrive on shelves, and more
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
- Epic Eats, a quick-service kiosk at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, will be reopening tomorrow, December 5, 2020
Disney’s Animal Kingdom

- Two baby giraffes recently born at Disney’s Animal Kingdom are now grown enough to join the rest of the Masai giraffes on Kilimanjaro Safaris
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels
- Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort’s Monorail station closed early last month as the extensive refurbishment of the resort continues, and we have you covered with a look at the work being done on the Monorail station
- Disney’s new “scan and go” merchandise mobile checkout system is currently being tested at both Disneyland Resort and at Mouse Gear in EPCOT, and it is now available for Everything POP at Disney’s Pop Century Resort
- If you haven’t had enough Walt Disney World cupcakes this season, then head on over to Disney’s Wilderness Lodge for a brand new Christmas cupcake at the Roaring Fork
- While the past few months have brought the loss of many talented entertainers around Walt Disney World Resort hotels, the return of one performer is music to our ears — the pianist has returned to the lobby of Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort for the first time since its reopening back in June

- Walt Disney World has released operating hours for all four theme parks through February 20, 2021
Disneyland Resort

- Several Buena Vista Street snack carts that were previously located near Carthay Circle have relocated very close to the new Web Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure attraction at Disney California Adventure
- Initially slated to reopen on December 6, the Disney Vacation Club Villas at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa will not be reopening as planned, due to the recent state-wide stay-at-home order that was issued yesterday
Disneyland Paris
- Though Disneyland Paris remains closed through at least February 13, 2021, World of Disney in Disney Village will be reopening for shopping from December 5 through December 23, as will select food and merchandise chalets, offering seasonal treats
Disney Cruise Line
- Disney Cruise Line, which previously canceled all sailings departing through January 31, 2021, has now canceled all sailings departing through February 28, 2021
New Merchandise

- Just in time for his birthday, the Walt Disney and Sleeping Beauty Castle Funko POP! figurine set will release on shopDisney on Saturday, December 5th
- Just in at Disney Parks are two fabulous new Minnie ear headbands — new Cornflower Blue and “The Little Mermaid” ears are now available at Downtown Disney District in Disneyland Resort
- Ear headbands may not be the best accessory for keeping warm, but these fuzzy new snowflake ears from Walt Disney World are sure to give you a cozy feeling
- A new MagicBand celebrating the first Mickey Mouse cartoon, “Steamboat Willie”, and the man behind the mouse is now available at Walt Disney World
- We discovered a bonanza of new Limited Edition Pins today at Disneyland Resort — from Walt himself to a variety of Gingerbread themed pins, there’s something for everyone
- The Italy Pavilion in EPCOT has a new limited edition MagicBand by Dooney & Bourke featuring Mickey and Minnie

- According to Collider, Disney is looking into merging their two streaming services, Disney+ and Hulu, into one
