The 2021 Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Arts is just days away. Earlier today, we learned what Food Studios will be serving, and now, we can see people at work preparing a feast for the eyes! Let’s see what’s going on!

Art Walls and Photo Ops

As you may have already seen, the “Drawing on Inspiration” gallery pays tribute to EPCOT’s past with Imagineer-created artwork themed to EPCOT’s pavilions past and present.

Directly across from The Land, a paint-by-numbers wall has been set up.

Hopefully, the art will look better than the demolition of Innoventions West going on directly behind it.

We have the numbers, but what will we see? We’ll find out soon!

Around the corner from the Future World West restrooms, guests can look like they’re wearing two tiny wings and the horns of a steer of everyone’s favorite purple dragon, Figment!

There are two photo ops at different heights so that fans of all sizes can try Figment’s look.

For the full look, guests will have to bring their own sweater.

Towards the back of Future World, dreams take flight when you show off a pair of butterfly wings!

Each has been designed in a unique style. Above, you can see wings rendered as pixel art.

Smaller wings are decorated like candy. How sweet!

Moving towards the walkway to World Showcase, we find these wings, which look like they’d fit right at home in the Main Street Electrical Parade.

Rainbows, stars and hearts feature prominently on these wings.

And the world is a carousel of color with these wings make up of ink splashes.

Meanwhile, guests will be able to step into some classic works of art with the standalone photo ops.

Across the water from the Imagination! Pavilion, we can’t wait to step into Botticelli’s The Birth of Venus.

Also on the connecting pathway between Future World and World Showcase, Figment appears in a series of colorful portraits.

This is one of those rare pieces that looks just as pretty from the back!

Chalk Art

Near The EPCOT Experience, artists have begun drawing their intricate works of chalk art.

Figment invites guests to join the “Chalk Full of Character” scavenger hunt around World Showcase. (More on that in a bit.)

Over on the western half of the walkway, a 3-D sign invite guests to check out the art beneath their feet! (But don’t actually walk on it.)

“Chalk Full of Character” Scavenger Hunt

While we were over by the Mexico Pavilion, we couldn’t help but check out one of the completed characters that are part of this scavenger hunt.

Coco’s Dante, in his alebrije form, can be found just to the right of the entrance to the pyramid.
