Gideon’s Bakehouse at Disney Springs is now officially open. The bakery soft opened in December. After a temporary closure in early January, the location is having its grand opening today. Be sure to check out our review of the three limited-edition cookies available today only! As part of the celebration, Gideon’s is offering free art prints of its gargoyle. Stickers, limited edition cookies, free peanut butter buttercream dip, and a gargoyle T-shirt area also available.

The grand opening promotions drew a crowd. Traffic was backed up entering the Disney Springs Orange Garage. Long lines of guests snaked through the garage an hour before the bakery’s 10 AM opening.

Once inside Disney Springs, guests lined up to join the Gideon’s Bakehouse virtual queue.

Guests continued to join the virtual queue line. Shortly before 11:00 AM, the virtual queue wait time had swelled to 12 hours.
