While we still have to wait for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure to open at EPCOT, we’re now one step closer to seeing the finished France attraction. The first street of the France Pavilion expansion is now open to guests!
The “Ratatouille” archway leading into the expansion lets guests know they are entering the world of the Pixar film.
Beneath the archway is now a banner reading “Opening 2021.” You’ll notice a sign to the right that will eventually show the attraction’s wait time.
We now have an up-close look at the beautiful plants and murals that make up the expansion’s Parisian theming.
There is a great view of the Disney Skyliner, which we usually ride to see the expansion.
A Cast Member was busy placing signs that indicated some benches were not available due to social distancing.
Only this short street is open. The main street leading to the new attraction is blocked with construction walls.
We expect to see many guests posing with this mural and streetlamp.
This street is Rue Auguste Gusteau (“rue” means “street” in French).
On the right is a courtyard for stroller parking.
Though most of the expansion is still closed, opening this street gives guests more room to walk around and rest, which is vital in the time of social distancing.
Plus, there are new bathrooms! This is the only building open so far in the expansion. In fact, this area only opened because the Morocco bathrooms have closed for refurbishment. Might as well call this “rue des toilettes”.
The interior of the bathrooms aren’t particularly themed.
The chic dark colors and tiles match the rest of the pavilion though.
Instead of mirrors, there are light fixtures above each sink.
Across from the bathrooms will be La Creperie de Paris, with a counter service option called Crepes A Emporter. Queue stanchions are already set up for the quick-service location.
Unfortunately there’s no menu posted yet. But we can’t wait to soon be eating crepes in Paris!

Are you excited to ride Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure when it opens soon? Let us know in the comments!
What odd placement for the lights… right in front of the beautiful painting and right up along the edge of the pathway like that.
Yes can’t wait to see it all open, used to work for Chefs De France!
Yes !! I have a trip planned for Mid April and I feel like it’s only a matter of weeks before it opens. I’m thinking maybe beginning of March like runaway mine train last year ?
Besides the bathrooms , what other attractions are open? at least put a baguette and croissants cart.
